Dr. Osama is a Consultant Paediatrician with over 40 years of experience in his field. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Baghdad, College of Medicine and completed his residency in Paediatrics. Since then, he has accumulated a wealth of experience as a Paediatrician, first in Iraq as Resident Physician and Paediatrician with some of the country’s top teaching hospitals.

After receiving his Board certification he practiced Paediatrics in Iraq, then in Jordan as Attendant Physician and Consultant Paediatrician. He began working in the UAE in 1999, practicing in both General Paediatrics as well as Neonatal & Paediatric intensive care.

Dr Osama brings a vast knowledge and expertise gained from enrollment in specialty training courses and clinical programs at some of the world’s most renowned hospitals and institutions, including in the UK and the Hospital for Sick Children in Canada.

For the last 15 years, he worked as Consultant Paediatrician and Department Head at Baraha Hospital in Dubai, where he was responsible for Inpatient care at the Paediatric & Neonatal Intensive Care, and Outpatient care at the hospital’s Paediatric unit.

Dr Osama specialises in General Paediatric problems and infections, Paediatric Respiratory problems and Paediatric GI tract & Urinary Tract problems. He is also focused on preventative healthcare issues and is a US certified International Lactation Consultant, since 2002. He has been heavily involved in Medical education programs and from 2008 to 2014 served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Sharjah, College of Medicine, and Department of Paediatrics. In this role, he supervised upper year Medical students and integrated their transition into Medical practice in a hospital setting.

Dr Anjana Karunakaran is a Specialist Ophthalmologist with five years of experience. She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Trivandrum (2007). She received her MD in Ophthalmology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (2015), and she went on to pursue a Fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery from Narayana Nethralaya ,Bangalore (2018). She worked as Cornea Refractive Surgeon in Chaithanya Eye Hospital and Research Institute, Trivandrum, India, for four years before joining Medeor Hospital, Dubai. She has expertise in comprehensive ophthalmology, both anterior segment and posterior segment. She deals with ocular emergencies and trauma.

Biography

Dr. Sagimole Tojichen is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Medeor Hospital in Dubai and a Gynae Laparoscopic Surgeon. With over 16 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, including 11 years in the United Arab Emirates. In 2002, she began her career as a Voluntary Lecturer at Alleppey Government Medical College in Kerala, India. She then joined Mother Hospital in Thrissur, Kerala, India, as a Specialist cum DNB Trainee. Later, she relocated to the United Arab Emirates, where she worked as a GP Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Medcare Hospital in Dubai. She trained in the same hospital as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She then accepted a position as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist, and Laparoscopic Surgeon at the International Modern Hospital (IMH) in Dubai, UAE.
