JUVENIS is a private medical centre in the historic first district of Vienna, a few minutes' walk from Stephansplatz. It is an outpatient group practice rather than a hospital: patients come for consultations, diagnostics, day procedures and aesthetic treatments. Sixteen doctors from eight specialties work under one roof, and the practice is barrier-free.
Dermatology and Skin Cancer
Dermatology is the centre's largest department, with four consultant dermatologists, treating conditions including:
- Eczema
- Psoriasis
- Acne
- Rosacea
- Urticaria
The practice places a strong emphasis on skin cancer. Digital mole mapping is used to screen for suspicious lesions and monitor them over time, and dermatosurgery is available for removal. Melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are diagnosed and treated here, and for certain superficial skin cancers and precancerous lesions the centre offers daylight photodynamic therapy, which avoids a surgical scar.
Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery
Two plastic surgeons work at JUVENIS, one of whom is also a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Their procedures include:

Health Check-Ups and Internal Medicine
The preventive side of the practice is served by internists, general practitioners and a radiologist. Health check-ups can be combined with:

Individual consultations are available in cardiology, angiology, nuclear medicine, haematology, nutritional medicine, orthopaedics, vascular surgery and psychiatry. Botulinum toxin is also used therapeutically at JUVENIS for chronic migraine, excessive sweating and night-time teeth grinding.
Team and Recognition
JUVENIS was co-founded in 2012 by dermatologist a.o. Univ. Prof. Dr. Tamara Kopp, who still practises there. In the 2026 KURIER doctor ranking, four JUVENIS physicians were named among Austria's most popular doctors: Prof. Kopp, dermatologist Dr. Christine Bangert, plastic surgeon Dr. Igor Pona and plastic and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Dr. Bernhard Moser. The practice itself was named one of the most popular group practices of 2026 in the same KURIER and IMWF ranking.
JUVENIS is a private practice and does not bill Austrian public health insurance.

I had an appointment here and whilst the staff were very friendly my appointment was with a beautician (doctor came in for 5 minutes). There was no diagnostic analysis and instead I was pushed toward getting laser and buying their skin care cream- which seemed to be their one size fits all approach. If you want an anti aging treatment this is the place to go, however don’t go if you have other concerns and want an appointment with a medical professional.

I didn't feel like anyone cared about what I had to say, everything felt very rushed and I didn't get proper treatment for the price I paid.
Two stars for a nice office and kind receptionists.

I decided to go to Juvenis to cure my rosacea. A laser treatment was the first thing that was advised to me.
I knew it would hurt, they also gave me anesthetic. The first time, I got checked by a doctor, who also did the laser together with the assistant.
From the second time on, the laser was only done by the assistant, who during the second session apparently did something wrong while setting up the machine.
Result was, that my face looked like somebody punched me and I was full of bursts. It took me 10 days to recover from it. From the third session on, the doctor joined again, since I explained that I didn’t feel fully safe only with the assistant, after what happened.
Of course the laser treatment temporarily worked and improved my status, but I would not go back to that dermatologist.
The fact that they send you to the assistant after the first check up with the doctor says it all, it’s not that serious.
What I found out after the treatment, while visiting another dermatologist who apparently was not doing it for the money, was that this disease can be cured with creams / antibiotics and that the first thing shouldn’t be a laser treatment. This is a pity cause the reason people visit doctors is that they are not experts in the field and would want to have a global view on possible solutions.
I am aware about the fact that dermatologists aren’t cheap and that laser is pricy (290€ per session), but the creams which were prescribed which can be bought only there cause they’re produced for Juvenis by a pharmacy cost 80€ minimum and do not last long: apparently it’s their secondary business..
On top of this, the welcome desk is awful: very rude and not welcoming at all. They even forgot I had an appointment once: I had to wait 1,5 hours as I got there..

It is a team that asks everyone who visits to leave positive reviews for the front desk. Despite this, you are forced to pay for a follow-up appointment that was said to be free of charge.
