Specialized Medical Qualifications

Dr. Camilo Torres is a certified plastic surgeon with about 20 years of experience. He trained in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires. This institution holds Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation.

Dr. Torres belongs to several professional organizations:

• Sociedad Americana de Cirugía Plástica

Body Contouring and Liposuction

The clinic specializes in high-definition body sculpting with lipoVASER technology. This system uses ultrasound energy to break apart fat cells while sparing other tissues. Specialists perform Lipoescultura 360 HD to remove localized fat and reshape the entire figure.

VASER liposuction follows specific safety steps:

• In-person assessment with an anesthesiologist before surgery
• Review of lab exams to confirm surgical readiness
• General anesthesia for the 1–2 hour procedure
• Ten lymphatic drainage sessions to manage postoperative swelling

Recovery takes 2–3 weeks. Patients should avoid sexual activity and heavy physical strain during this period.

Facial and Reconstructive Procedures

Dr. Torres performs facial aesthetic surgeries with specific anesthesia and recovery timelines. Rhinoplasty corrects the nasal hump or tip. It can also fix a deviated septum to improve breathing. The surgery takes about 2 hours under general anesthesia, with final results visible after one year.

Other facial procedures include:

• Blepharoplasty – Eyelid surgery in 20–30 minutes under topical anesthesia.
• Otoplasty – Ear correction lasting 1–2 hours to reposition prominent ears.
• Mentoplasty – Chin surgery through an incision inside the lower lip.
• Bichectomy – Removal of cheek fat pads to sharpen facial contours.

After otoplasty, patients wear an ear dressing for four days. They should avoid physical effort for about six weeks.

Breast and Intimate Health Services

Breast surgeries include mammaplasty for augmentation and reduction. The clinic also treats gynecomastia – surgical removal of male breast tissue. This one-hour procedure requires wearing a compression vest 24 hours daily until healed.

Non-surgical intimate care is available through CO2 laser vaginal rejuvenation. This treatment repairs pelvic tissues and helps with urinary incontinence or lubrication concerns. It offers a non-invasive alternative to traditional surgical repair.

Services for International Patients

The clinic supports international visitors with dedicated travel coordination. Services include round-trip airport transfers and arranged lodging. Virtual consultations allow patients to plan before arriving in Bogotá. Post-treatment care includes recovery monitoring and personalized instructions for the journey home.
