Dr. Alejandro Mora is a private plastic surgery practice in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The clinic focuses on aesthetic and reconstructive procedures that enhance appearance while keeping natural proportions. Dr. Alejandro Mora leads the practice as a certified specialist with over 15 years of surgical experience.
Surgical Expertise and Focus
The practice is built on a philosophy of "artistic sensitivity." This approach aims to preserve each patient's natural expression. Dr. Alejandro Mora provides individualized recommendations based on patient lifestyle and aesthetic goals. If a patient is unsuitable for a specific procedure, the clinic suggests safe alternatives.
Communication is a priority during the planning phase. Dr. Mora avoids complex medical jargon so patients understand their options clearly. The clinic uses detailed illustrations and photos to explain surgical techniques and expected outcomes.
Plastic Surgery Specialties
The clinic provides a range of surgeries for the breasts, face, and body. Each procedure is tailored to achieve harmony between the treated area and the rest of the body.
Breast Surgery
Dr. Alejandro Mora performs several types of mammoplasty to address volume, shape, and medical necessity:
- Breast augmentation using silicone or tear-drop implants
- Breast augmentation with fat transfer
- Correction of breast ptosis (sagging) through breast lift surgery
- Breast reduction to relieve discomfort from excess size and weight
- Restoration of breast shape after a mastectomy
The clinic uses high-quality implants for durable results and patient safety.
Facial Rejuvenation
Facial procedures redefine contours and reduce signs of aging without changing fundamental features. Services include eyelid improvements to remove excess skin or under-eye bags. The clinic also performs nasal reshaping and procedures to reduce sagging in the face and neck.
Body Contouring and Liposuction
For fat removal, the practice uses a suction-based technique. The surgeon applies a local anesthetic solution, then inserts a thin cannula through a small skin incision. This method extracts fat from under the skin in various areas:
- Abdomen and love handles
- Thighs, knees, and calves
- Buttocks and back
- Neck and upper arms
- Full 360-degree liposuction and liposculpture
After the procedure, patients compress and immobilize the treated area for about three days. This supports more complete fat removal and helps the skin adhere to the new contours.
International Patient Services
The clinic treats international patients with thorough consultation and guidance. Dr. Alejandro Mora provides a transparent budget after the initial evaluation, so there are no hidden costs. This budget typically includes medical fees, anesthesia, materials, and post-operative follow-up care.
The practice emphasizes long-term outcomes and patient education. Every patient receives a clear explanation of the recovery process and direct answers to questions about their treatment plan.
