Radu Ciuvica

Dr. Radu Ciuvica is a specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology, with extensive clinical and surgical experience gained in top medical centers. He holds a PhD in Medical Sciences, earned through research focused on locomotor system pathology and modern techniques of orthopaedic treatment.

In his current practice, Dr. Ciuvica is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders, including diseases and injuries of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. He manages both acute cases resulting from trauma (fractures, sprains, ligament tears) and chronic degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis, joint instability, meniscal lesions, and tendinopathies.

A key area of his expertise involves minimally invasive surgical procedures, particularly arthroscopic surgery — a modern technique that allows the repair of joint structures through small incisions, ensuring faster recovery and reduced postoperative discomfort for patients. In this field, Dr. Ciuvica has significant experience in knee and shoulder surgery, treating meniscal tears, ligament ruptures (including ACL – anterior cruciate ligament injuries), patellar instability, and rotator cuff tears.
