Cell therapy

Precision Medical Center offers cell treatments in cosmetology, ophthalmology, dentistry, traumatology, neurology, cardiology, and a part of cancer treatment based on 18 clinically proven protocols.

The regenerative procedures are provided in collaboration with the Institute of Genetics and Cytology at National Academy of Sciences of Belarus which has been providing cell research for over 50 years.

The team applies biomedical cell products based on autologous (patient’s own) mesenchymal stem cells cultured in the laboratory to the required number. Mesenchymal stem cells make an anti-inflammatory and reparative effect and are applied to treat degenerative lesions of the joints, trophic ulcers, gum recession.

Arthrosis, articular cartilage traumatic, long-standing and degenerative lesions

Innovative cell technology is an alternative to radical surgery. Biomedical cell products based on autologous mesenchymal taken from the patient's adipose tissue are infected into the joint to restore the cartilage tissue structure.

The method is used in the complex treatment of post-traumatic and degenerative diseases of the hip, knee, ankle, shoulder joints, accompanied by the presence of full-layer cartilage defects.

Stem cell therapy is recognized safe against autoimmune, allergic and infectious complications due to use of the patient’s own cells. Thus a patient has no risks of transplant rejection and transmission of arthropod-borne infections.

Transplantology

Liver transplant

According to the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On transplantation of human organs and tissues”, the local facilities are allowed to provide liver transplant from living donors (for example, from a parent to a child).

Kidney transplant

Belarus transplant surgeons provide all types of kidney replacement. Kidney transplants procedures have been developed in collaboration with the Oxford University Hospital Kidney Unit and Birmingham Children's Hospital (UK). As for now, there have been over 2,000 kidney transplants provided.
