I was suffering with infected crowns over the Christmas period in the UK. I got quotes from Private dentists in the UK one suggested an extraction / then implant for one large molar which my mouth could not afford to lose as I have few molars left. All work could only be done after Christmas leaving me in paid - I changed my schedule to leave for Thailand early. At very short notice Dr Lilly had a look using amazing X-ray shots that the tooth was fine, work and prices agreed. Dr Lilly lifted the existing crowns found the problems replaced the crowns and I had preparation for an additional implant I never planned to have but I used the opportunity. Work was never rushed and I had confidence in her work. Year later the crowns are great and the implant feels like an original tooth.

Dr Lily and her team rock!
Had occasion because of a mishap recently to visit a local Cairns dentist for a very old crown falling out (not Dr Lily's work).
He asked me who had done all the work in my mouth, saying how beautiful and excellently it had been done. I proudly said Dr Lily Poncheron of Bangkok Dental Spa.
The best dentist I have ever known. A true professional in every way, with a gentle, caring team to support her every step of the way.

Whenever my dental hygienist back in the U.S. would look in my mouth, she would shake her head and say, “Oh man, you’ve got the worst grinding problem I’ve ever seen. Your teeth are almost gone.”
This went on for years. My teeth were disappearing and there was nothing I could do without spending tens of thousands of dollars in oral surgery.
That’s when I found Dr. Lily.
On vacation in Bangkok, I decided to do a little research. Dr. Lily’s Dental Spa kept popping up, so I paid a visit, with the idea in mind of just getting a consultation. When I left after my fifth visit a couple weeks later, I had what is essentially a brand new mouth, and the next time my dental hygienist back home took a look, she said, “Wow. That’s amazing.”
Each step along the way during this process was collaborative, with Dr. Lily offering me several suggestions and options regarding both the price and the extent of the work being contemplated. This was something new for me.
Eventually, I will likely need some implants and more drastic measures, but what Dr. Lily and her team were able to do with some finely-tuned work, consisting mostly of crowns & inlays, was nothing short of amazing. During some visits, I spent 3 or 4 hours at a time in the chair, but I never experienced the slightest pain. Even the occasional Novocain shot was less invasive than what I’d experienced in the past.
Dr. Lily’s team has been with her for a long time, and it shows. She has a near-telepathic connection with her assistant Jinny, so that every step of the process flows seamlessly. There are also other dentists, lab techs and specialists she works with, all at the same level of professionalism.
After talking with other visitors who sought dental care in Thailand, and some Thai people as well, it was obvious I could have paid less for the work I had done, but I believe I made the best choice. I have felt every bit as safe as I would have in the States, and the quality of work and service was world class. Plus I got to know Dr. Lily! She is a fun and personable as well as professional, with a wealth of information about Bangkok and Thailand.
As you can see, I can’t speak highly enough of the experience I’ve had here. Including air fare, hotel, food and in-country travel in Thailand, the work is still much less expensive than what I would have to pay back home. Also, there is something ineffable about the experience: maybe it’s the way your name is on the marquee when you enter the office, the small number of patients seen on a given day, the kindness of the staff, the seeming lack of concern for how long each procedure takes. You know you’re someplace different and special. I will be coming back.

Be careful the BIDC Bangkok InternationalDental Center!! Dear patients: Bangkok has so many good dental clinics, but be careful BIDC (Bangkok International Dental Center) located in 157 Ratchadapisek Rd! … This clinic's doctor and the nurse were chatting non-stop in my earlier treatment. Recently, their doctor took out two of my teeth at the same time and strongly suggesting me to do implant, however, my Japanese expert is very suspecting the "treatment". When I did try to ask their staff (who name is Kwanchanok Thirdtrisorn) more details, she immediately escaped away and hide some where. Really surprised me. Not professional place. Thank you Dr. Lily and your team for your excellent work, your welcoming environment and your caring and friendly attitude. Of course dental work is never one of the most pleasant experiences but well how was I surprised that after some extensive work being done on my teeth over a period of about 10 days I was treated so well and was comforted in a most professional way to make this experience quite enjoyable as the result day by day was far exceeding the mental stress. Not m…uch pain at all and the friendliness and professionalism of Dr. Lily and her staff was incredible and very comforting throughout the period of time. So now I can say I'm very satisfied and have a confident and happy smile again thanks to the great work of Dr. Lily. I will recommend Dental Spa Bangkok to all my friends, family and colleagues... Thank you Dr. Lily also for the nice lunch the other day and I hope to see you and welcome you to the Maldives one day...keep in touch and thank you a million...Cheers, Rainer

I highly recommend a visit to the Bangkok Dental Spa, where I have been looked after so well by Dr. Lily and all the caring and friendly staff there. I have travelled there from Australia three times and am looking forward to my fourth visit in the near future to complete the work I have had done. I am happy to write this review as I have had no problems and continue to be very pleased with the results. Thanks Dr. Lily, see you again soon x
