Dr. Kim contributes to pharmacological research on cellular protection and anti-apoptotic mechanisms. She published an international study in Biochemical Pharmacology (2008). This research investigated how specific prostaglandins help protect cells from damage. Because of this focus, she explores the roles of Akt and ERK1/2 in cell survival.
