Specialization & Approach

Dr. Sertbas treats a variety of neurological conditions. He performs surgeries for brain and cerebellum tumors. This specialist also treats vascular issues like aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVM), and cavernomas. Additionally, he performs trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm surgeries to relieve facial pain and twitching.

For chronic pain and movement disorders, he uses deep brain stimulation and spinal cord stimulation. He performs deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. He also offers vagal nerve stimulation for epilepsy. Furthermore, he treats severe spasticity using baclofen pump implantation, which delivers medication directly to the spinal fluid.
